I speak as a survivor of domestic and sexual violence. It is a trauma that many know and without Christ, I would not be here to share my story. Our world is filled with trauma. Hurt, shame, disappointment, fear - it is everywhere we turn. But we don’t have to live in fear. God’s grace and mercy are just a breath away... even when we don’t want it or think we don't deserve it.

Nearly 20 people per minute are physically abused by an intimate partner in our country. And in the US, someone is sexually assaulted every 73 seconds. 65% of all murder-suicides involve an intimate partner; 96% of the victims of these crimes are female. In our country, HOME is the most dangerous place to be for a woman. And what's scarier... NONE of these numbers change by walking into a church every Sunday.

Our churches are full of victims that are afraid to ask for help or, like me, didn't know how to cope with my past. My purpose in speaking (my ministry) is to let people know that they are not alone. That there are others sitting in church, just like them, that have the same struggles and the same fears - but we also believe in the same God.

If your organization or church would like to contact me to schedule a speaking engagement, please use the email listed on our CONTACT page.

In John, chapter 4, Jesus not only accepts a nameless woman at the well, He makes their encounter the perfect example of love, truth, and redemption. He looks past her guilt and shame and sees a child of the King. Her testimony convinces an entire community to believe in Him... a community that has shunned her and deemed her a social outcast.

There is a piece of that nameless woman in all of us.
